To deliver a fully mobile responsive eCommerce website that would position and launch the Trident Align brand, as well as showcase their putting alignment tool. Since this was a completely original product, one that potential customers would not be previously aware of, the website needed to be designed in an engaging way, one that would explain the product concept in a compelling manner to support the buyer’s purchasing journey. It also needed to be able to handle periods of high volume as well as traffic spikes.
As there were no immediate plans for an organic content strategy, with all promotional budget being put into paid social, the main aim was to create a clean and detailed landing page that funnelled the user down through the site past all the created explainer content. At each stage the user was presented with an option to buy and additional product information that was designed to help the understand the benefits of this product, and ultimately close the sale. The checkout and shopping process were completely streamlined to remove any additional pages. The user can buy right off the home page and is taken straight to the checkout without having to go to a shop page or an individual product page.
Additional functionalities that we’re included were Mailchimp integration with WooCommerce to add any new customers to the email marketing list. As well as Cart Abandonment Emails to try and reduce the amount of lost sales at the checkout page. We also linked the store to Facebook and Instagram so that the product could be directly tagged in Instagram posts. What we ended up creating was a high performing single page sales funnel that has performed even better than we had hoped at driving conversions.
