THE BRIEF
In conjunction with Tenth Man, we developed this unique Web AR experience for TG4 to enhance an OOH media campaign and to provide more content to the audience through this traditional print medium. The AR experience was activated via a QR code which took users directly to the AR experience through the web browser removing any need to download an app. Once open a video was overlaid on top of the ad, with 3D elements and animated glyphs creating a more immersive and engaging experience for the viewer. The creative was changed with each cycle reducing any chance fatigue and keeping it fresh for any pre-existing users.
Another great thing about enhancing this OOH media campaign with augmented reality was that it provided the client with a lot more in-depth metrics with regards to a very analog and hard-to-track medium.
