Avalanche (AVAX) development

Avalanche is often talked about as its own separate ecosystem, and for custom subnets, it is. But the part of Avalanche most projects actually touch, the C-Chain, is EVM-compatible: the same Solidity contracts, the same tooling, the same development patterns used to build on Ethereum apply directly, with the tradeoff of lower fees and faster finality than Ethereum mainnet.

Where our experience applies

Our Ethereum work, Lady Lileth, an NFT PFP project built with UK artist Graceland London, covering a custom minting site and staking dashboard in ERC-20, is built on EVM-compatible tooling. That same smart contract and tokenisation expertise carries over to Avalanche’s C-Chain without needing to relearn a different development model. Separately, most of our production blockchain delivery, Mingo, Blockcask, Prelistd and Jan Emanuel, is on Hedera, a different chain family, so we are straightforward about which of our projects actually inform an Avalanche build.

We will say plainly where the line is: if your project needs a custom Avalanche subnet with its own validator set and rules, that is a more specialised build than deploying to the C-Chain, and we would scope that honestly with you rather than overstate our experience with subnet architecture specifically.
