We turn real-world assets into digital tokens people can actually own, prove and trade. TEJ is an Irish blockchain studio that builds asset tokenisation platforms end to end, from the legal and compliance structure through to audited smart contracts and a working product. Property, whisky, event access, athlete identity: if it has real value, we can help you put it on-chain properly.
What asset tokenisation actually gives you
Tokenisation takes the record of ownership of an asset and puts it on a blockchain, so ownership can be proven in seconds, transferred without a middleman, and split into fractions. That unlocks three things that were hard or impossible before: fractional ownership, so more people can invest in high value assets; instant, verifiable transfer, so ownership stops being a paperwork bottleneck; and tamper-proof provenance, so buyers can trust what they hold. If you want the full picture of what this applies to, read our guide to what can be tokenised.
Where we have already done it
We do not deal in slideware. We have built real tokenisation systems across very different asset classes, and that track record is what separates a serious build from a pitch deck.
- Property. Through PRELISTD we work on tokenised real estate with the institutional compliance frameworks that serious property capital requires. See how to tokenise real estate.
- Whisky and casks. We engineered BlockCask, a whisky tokenisation platform giving buyers verifiable ownership of cask-backed assets. See how to tokenise whisky.
- Live events and access. MINGO turns event tickets into verifiable digital assets that kill fraud and counterfeit resale. See tokenising event tickets.
- Athlete identity. With WBC Digital ID Infra we built soulbound, non-transferable digital identities for athletes, with verified records held on-chain. See tokenising athlete identity.
Built for compliance, not just for demos
The hard part of tokenisation is not the code, it is the link between a token and a real, enforceable right. We design that link properly: the legal wrapper that makes a token a genuine claim on the asset, the custody and data integrations that keep the on-chain record true to the physical reality, and the identity and transfer controls that regulation such as the EU MiCA framework increasingly requires. That institutional, compliance-first approach is the backbone of our work.
Chain-agnostic by design
We are not tied to one network. We build on Hedera and on EVM chains including Ethereum, and we choose the one that fits your asset, your volumes and your buyers rather than the one we happen to prefer. If you are weighing that decision, we break it down in Hedera vs Ethereum for tokenisation, and you can read more about our Hedera development and EVM development work.
How a project runs
We start with the asset and the goal, not the technology. First we structure the asset legally so a token is an enforceable ownership right. Then we choose the chain and token standard to match the asset and its regulatory context. We write and audit the smart contracts, build in the compliance controls you need, and deliver a working platform that issues tokens and handles ongoing events like income distributions or redemptions. You get a product, not a proof of concept.
Talk to us about tokenising your asset
If you own or manage something valuable that is hard to divide, slow to transfer or difficult to prove ownership of, there is a good chance it can be tokenised in a way that makes commercial sense. The place to start is a conversation about the asset, the structure and the right chain. Get in touch and we will tell you honestly whether tokenisation fits, and how we would build it.
