AR filter agency

Built in-house in Blackrock, Dublin. Direct with brands, or white-label for agencies.

Built in-house, not briefed out

AR is niche enough that most agencies don’t have it on staff, so a filter or lens brief usually gets passed to a supplier the account team has never met. We’re the studio it goes to instead.

TikTok filters, Snapchat lenses and WebAR, built by the person who quotes it, builds it and answers the phone if something needs changing after launch. Nothing gets subcontracted on to somebody else’s supplier.

What that covers, project to project:

  • TikTok filters and effects
  • Snapchat lenses
  • WebAR experiences
  • AR games
  • Try-on & product AR

PUMA, adidas, DHL x The Rolling Stones and SuperValu have all shipped AR built here, some of it direct, some of it through an agency in the middle. This page is about the second kind. For what a filter actually is, see AR filters; for the wider picture including WebAR, see augmented reality.

Direct, or white-label behind you

Two ways this works, and the build itself doesn’t change either way.

Direct

Straight to the brand

You brief us, we quote it, build it and deliver to your team. No one in between, no account layer passing messages back and forth.

White-label

Delivered under your name

A lot of our work is delivered quietly behind agencies, under their own name, including TBWA, tpf London, Verve and Tenth Man. Your client sees your agency’s work. We stay off the credits.

How a project runs with an agency in the middle

Your client’s brand guidelines and your client’s deadline. Both stay fixed; we work around them, not the other way round.

Concept

Your brief, or your client’s, shaped into an AR concept that works on the platform. If Snapchat suits it better than TikTok, we say so here, not after the quote’s signed off.

Design & build

The assets, animation and platform build, kept inside the client’s brand guidelines from the first draft, so nothing needs re-explaining at review.

Approval

Rounds go to you, then to your client, on whatever timeline your account team runs. We build revision time into the schedule rather than treating it as a delay.

Test & refine

Tested on real handsets, iOS and Android, because a launch date doesn’t move for a filter that only works on the phone it was built on.

Launch

Submitted for platform review and published on schedule. You tell the client it’s live; we stay off the credits if that’s how you want it run.

Common questions

Do you work white-label for agencies?

Yes. A lot of our work is delivered quietly behind agencies, under their own name, including TBWA, tpf London, Verve and Tenth Man.

How much does an AR filter or lens cost?

Most branded filters and lenses fall between roughly €1,500 and €6,000, depending on the concept and how much custom art and functionality is involved. More advanced WebAR and games can go higher. Tell us the brief and we’ll give you a fixed quote.

How long does a project take?

Most take one to two weeks including revisions, depending on complexity and how quickly assets and feedback come back from your side or the client’s.

Who gets the credit, us or the agency?

Whichever you want. Delivered under your agency’s name is the default for white-label work; we’re happy to stay off the credits entirely.

Can you handle platform submission and approvals?

Yes. We manage the full build, testing and platform submission process, so you’re not the one chasing TikTok or Snapchat for a review status.

Which platforms do you build for?

TikTok and Snapchat filters and lenses, plus browser-based WebAR. Meta shut down Spark AR in January 2025, so Instagram and Facebook filter briefs move to these instead.

Which brands have you built AR for, direct or through an agency?

PUMA, adidas, DHL x The Rolling Stones and SuperValu, among others, some direct and some delivered through an agency.
